Cora Siré

Cora Siré is the author of two novels, two poetry collections as well as her latest, a collection of stories, Fear the Mirror, (Véhicule Press, 2021). Her fiction, essays, and poetry have appeared in anthologies and literary magazines in Canada, the US, Mexico, and Europe. Her work has been translated into Spanish and French. She is the co-creator of a short film, I Want More Life to Love! inspired by the works and life of the Uruguayan poet, Delmira Agustini. Born in Canada, Cora Siré often writes of elsewhere, drawing on her encounters in faraway places and her family’s history of displacement. Of Eastern European heritage, with family links to South America, Cora lives in Montréal.
